How to install 2 OS in 1 computer (Kali Linux + Windows 10)

So, what can be the best? The safest way is to get a new hard drive for Kali Linux, you can install Kali Linux on that drive without interfering with the existing windows 10 drive. On PC you can easily add another HDD or SSD but on a laptop rules are different.

Now, these days in new laptops there is an extra slot for SSD is provided, but in somehow old laptops there is only 1 slot for HDD or SSD. Then there is a useful thing called 2nd HDD caddy, which allows you to add another HDD or SSD to the laptop by replacing it with the DVD ROM.

So, once you had managed to add a separate drive, simply disconnect the windows 10 drive for a while, connect the new drive and install Kali Linux on it. To install Kali Linux you have to download the ISO image first from the official website and make a bootable USB.

The process is same in PC and Laptop but in laptop you need to make space for another HDD or SSD, using 2nd HDD caddy. If your laptop has an extra slot for SSD then it's ok caddy is not required.
